Chris Grossman's Local Radio Lab is taking the branding of AAA 'Indie 88' (https://www.indie88.com/) to new heights by expanding it to four other stations in Ontario. The former AC stations 'FM 92' (92.1 CIMA-FM Alliston), 'FM 101' (101.3 CJML-FM Milton), 'FM 101' (101.5 CKMO-FM Orangeville), and 'FM 102' (CJFB-FM Bolton) have all been rebranded as 'Indie FM'. This exciting development brings a unique twist to the airwaves, as the four stations now share a music log with an Alternative leaning Hot AC format, distinct from their Toronto counterpart.
General Manager Joel Grossman expressed his enthusiasm, stating, 'This rebrand has been a labor of love for a year, and we're thrilled to unveil our hard work. By uniting our stations under the Indie FM banner, we can introduce a fresh talent lineup, revitalize programming, and create shared contests across the entire network. We're incredibly proud of the direction Indie FM is taking, and I want to extend my gratitude to our loyal listeners who have been with us every step of the way.'
This strategic move not only strengthens the Indie FM brand but also offers listeners a diverse and engaging experience, setting it apart from the competition.
